How We Work
These days, everyone needs a strong presence in print and online.
Everywhere we turn, we see, hear, and touch messages. It’s hard to make your brochure or website stand out. To make sure your media message says all the right things about you and your brand, you’ll need a designer that understands the power of good simple design.
Good design is never flashy or overbearing. It says what you need it to say directly to your audience.
Would you like a custom-fit for a content management system like WordPress or Joomla? Or how about having your Twitter background bear the same branding as your book cover? Of course you would.
Here at 1721 Media …
We speak WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, WebGUI, and a host of other CMS ‘languages.’ Our chief designer, Linda, communicates regularly with Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, and InDesign. And oh yes, she still speaks English.
During our initial consultation, she asks a host of questions. And she listens for answers, your input. She distills your message down to its purest form. That sounds lofty and complicated but it’s really kind of simple. Please humor her and give all the questions (lots of questions) your full attention. We also examine all your existing collateral (brochures, logo, etc).
With two degrees in engineering and two published novels, would you expect anything less from your designer, particularly one who’s mantra is: be effective and be efficient. Linda works with honesty and integrity. And like most working moms, she thrives on simplicity.
To help you get some ideas growing before we meet face-to-face, please feel free to use our Design Planner.
